Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform the duties of a Refrigeration/Boiler Technician and assist other maintenance personnel on the shift.
  • •Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
  • •Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
  • •Troubleshoot issues and respond to unplanned/emergency work requests in a timely manner.
  • •Maintain open communication with operations and follow food safety and good manufacturing practices.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years’ direct experience in that environment.
  • •Have or be able to attain RETA certification.
  • •Industrial maintenance experience including comprehensive knowledge in three or more areas such as ammonia refrigeration, engine and boiler systems, controls and instrumentation, PLC/software and hardware, pneumatics and hydraulics, mechanical systems, maintenance planning, site utilities, system troubleshooting, pipefitting and welding, machining, and metal fabrication.
  • •Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and follow safe work practices.
  • •Basic computer skills and the ability to work independently.
