Key Responsibilities

  • •Formulate, document, and execute multi-year global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • •Run end-to-end tendering (RFx) and lead direct negotiations for complex commercial agreements.
  • •Build strategic supplier partnerships, resolve supply chain challenges, mitigate geopolitical risk, and optimize best cost country (BCC) sourcing.
  • •Manage AOP forecasting, cost modeling, and index management; support transformation and compliance with sustainability mandates (EUDR, PPWR).
  • •Foster a unified “One Global Materials Group” mindset across a global matrix organization and partner with regional procurement teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • •10+ years in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or category management with direct accountability for material cost results.
  • •5+ years of managerial/leadership experience in a complex global matrix organization.
  • •Strong capability in running competitive tenders/RFxs, vendor selection, and using should-cost models.
  • •Excellent English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
