Key Responsibilities

  • •Support enterprise and operational risk transformation projects using AI-enabled analysis where appropriate.
  • •Document, assess, and enhance risk processes and controls across the first and second lines of defence, identifying opportunities for automation and AI-enabled workflow improvements.
  • •Contribute to market abuse and trade surveillance initiatives by reviewing controls, detection scenarios, and responsible AI application to reduce false positives.
  • •Support AI model tuning and optimisation within surveillance environments, ensuring governance, validation, auditability, and human oversight.
  • •Engage stakeholders across business, technology, compliance, and risk to deliver collaborative, data-driven transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in enterprise or operational risk, ideally within financial services.
  • •Strong understanding of market abuse regulation and trade surveillance frameworks.
  • •Awareness or practical experience of AI and machine learning applications within risk or surveillance environments, including model tuning and responsible AI practices.
  • •Experience documenting end-to-end processes, identifying risk and control gaps, and using approved AI tools to support analysis where appropriate.
  • •Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to explain complex concepts across business and technology teams.
