Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze claims, loss, climate, operational, and resilience data to identify trends, risk drivers, and opportunities for risk reduction.
  • •Prepare industry risk profiles, benchmarking materials, and research summaries for internal and client-facing use.
  • •Use data and AI-supported methods, including NLP, to extract insights from claims narratives and other unstructured information.
  • •Develop visualizations, analytical outputs, and decision-support tools for service development and client deliverables.
  • •Build AI prompt libraries and analytical workflows, and support data quality review and early-stage risk engineering materials for client meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme or PhD for the full duration of the role.
  • •Master’s/PhD ideally in data science, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, climate science, environmental engineering, or related quantitative fields.
  • •Practical experience with Python and data analytics with comfort working with structured data.
  • •Experience with machine learning, geospatial analysis, or supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
  • •Strong communication in English; able to explain ideas, findings, and questions to colleagues.
