Job Summary

Ensure timely operational execution of tax obligations for assigned legal entities in Mexico. You will validate and analyze tax information, manage SAT governmental platform operations (including the tax mailbox), coordinate tax payments with Treasury, and record journal entries in the ERP. Maintain documentary control and compliance status reporting, while supporting transversal tax compliance, internal/external audit information, and requests such as refunds and uncertain tax positions.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute and support the preparation, compilation, and submission of monthly, quarterly, annual, and on-demand tax obligations before the SAT under supervisor validation.
•Manage the SAT tax mailbox and related digital tools, including receipt acknowledgements, reviewing notifications at least twice weekly, and handling e.firma (FIEL) and CSD administration.
•Coordinate tax payments with Treasury, using corporate banking platforms to verify capture details and archiving payment confirmations by obligation and entity.
•Capture approved tax-related journal entries in the ERP, including monthly and annual tax postings and fiscal-accounting reconciliations.
•Maintain a fiscal calendar, organize compliance documentation, and provide periodic compliance status reports while supporting audits, refunds, and uncertain tax positions (UTP).

•Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Administration, Finance, or a related field.
•Minimum 2 years in administrative or operational roles in taxes, accounting, or finance in Mexico.
•Knowledge of recent updates to SAT platforms and government procedures (last 12–18 months).
•Desirable experience working with multiple legal entities or in tax/accounting outsourcing firms.
•Ability to support tax compliance activities, audit documentation, and related operational processes under supervision.
