Key Responsibilities

•Build analytic and design skills for structural projects.
•Conduct structural engineering designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under supervision.
•Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
•Prepare and review contract specifications including cost estimates and quantities; undertake site inspections.
•Provide periodic site reviews to monitor contractor performance and attend site meetings.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 60,000 - 75,000 annually

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering.
•Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and presenting findings.

•Preferred: previous internship, co-op, or practical experience in structural engineering or related field.
•Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and Revit (plus BIM coordination).
