Job Summary

Lead daily quality testing in a union precast concrete manufacturing environment by performing compressive strength tests, pre/post pour inspections, and monitoring production operations. Oversee a team of 3–4, maintain quality documentation, and ensure readiness for internal IQAP assessments and annual NPCA audits. Serve as a point of contact for State DOT/ACI/NPCA, uphold Oldcastle QSM standards, and report quality concerns and process improvements to management.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily compressive strength testing on hardened concrete specimens.
•Conduct daily pre/post pour inspections and monitor production operations as required.
•Oversee a team of 3–4 individuals and report quality concerns, repetitive mistakes, and process improvements to management.
•Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
•Ensure plant readiness for IQAP assessments and annual NPCA audits while maintaining QSM standards and DOT compliance as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Quality control experience in a related industry.
•ACI/PCI certification preferred, or ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months and maintain certification.
•Basic computer and tablet skills.
•Ability to read/write simple instructions, communicate with team members, and lift up to 40 lbs periodically.
