Autonomous physiotherapist in a multi-disciplinary team, delivering specialist assessments and goal-oriented treatment for patients with complex musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, neurological or cardio-respiratory needs. Manages own caseload, contributes to MDT care, and promotes knowledge sharing while providing education to patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide specialist, holistic physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients with varying complexities of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological or cardio-respiratory presentations.
•Develop and implement goal-oriented, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with an MDT comprising physicians, nurses and other Allied Health Professionals.
•Manage your own caseload with awareness of service limitations and provide support to colleagues to manage their caseload.
•Deliver patient and family education to assist in management and recovery from injury, illness or disease.
•Take an active role in developing Rehabilitation services, delivering in-service training and sharing knowledge with non-therapy staff where appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (entry level) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (entry level)
•Current, valid license to practise Physiotherapy (home country) or license to practise Physiotherapy in Qatar
•Minimum 4 years post qualifying experience
•Demonstrated expertise in assessment of complex presentations and in an MDT setting
•Evidence of continued professional development and ability to form and implement goal-oriented treatment plans
