Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead transit safety and security project tasks using risk-management processes aligned with FTA and APTA standards.
  • •Develop PHAs/TVAs and associated mitigations/countermeasures, including CEL/CIL and DCCCs/CSCCs.
  • •Develop and maintain PTASP deliverables, including annual reviews and updates.
  • •Prepare SSC documents/reports, conduct SSC peer reviews, and provide SSC training to internal and external clients.
  • •Hold workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees and provide direct interaction/support to agency clients and project managers.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Ability to pass an MVR check.
  • •Proven project task lead experience inclusive of Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Programs (PTSCTP, TSSP) and State Safety Oversight (SSO).
  • •Possess Public Transportation Safety certifications such as PTSCTP/TSSP and/or Certified Safety Professional (CSP), and/or FTA TSSP Bus/Rail certification.
  • •Working proficiency with relevant safety and design standards (including FTA/APTA Safety & Security Certification and processes such as PTASP and Safety & Security Design Review).
