Job Summary

Join WSP’s Transportation Facilities Group in the New York Metro region, working on transportation-focused architectural projects such as rail and bus stations, airports, education facilities, and transportation hubs. You’ll develop architectural drawings and specifications (including renderings and presentation boards), support code compliance for renovations and new construction, coordinate projects, attend meetings, and perform local site inspections under the supervision of a senior architect.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop architectural drawings and specifications, including renderings and presentation boards.
•Support code compliance for new construction and renovations of transportation-related facilities.
•Perform local and/or regional site inspections and investigations of projects.
•Coordinate project activities and attend meetings.
•Exercise responsible, ethical decision-making and adhere to WSP’s code of conduct and related policies.

Salary: USD 84,500 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Arts/Science in Architecture with a Masters in Architecture.
•3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience; transportation experience is a plus.
•Understanding of building codes, including NY State and NYC Building Codes.
•Knowledge of construction drawing standards.
•Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microstation, Adobe Creative Suite).
