Job Summary

Verify and approve engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and configuration integrity. Support design integrity, manufacturability, safety, and engineering review gates by validating GD&T and assembly interfaces, clearances, and stack-ups. Enforce drafting standards and manage revisions and change notes through PLM lifecycle control in Windchill, while mentoring junior staff in Creo and Windchill.

Key Responsibilities

•Verify 2D drawings and 3D models for accuracy, completeness, tolerances, datum structures, fits, finishes, and material callouts.
•Validate GD&T to ensure compliance with ISO/ASME and BS 8888 standards.
•Review assemblies by verifying interfaces, clearances, stack-ups, and manufacturability.
•Enforce drafting conventions and defence/aerospace drafting requirements as part of standards governance.
•Perform configuration management by checking revisions, change notes, and PLM lifecycle accuracy in Windchill; support quality review gates and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 15+ years engineering or drawing office experience.
•Strong expertise in Creo and working knowledge of Windchill PLM.
•Advanced understanding of BS 8888 and international drawing standards.
•Strong knowledge of GD&T and ISO/ASME compliance.
•National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
