Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical support in overhead line design for complex multi-discipline projects.
•Work on large programmes of work such as the Great Grid Partnership projects.
•Assist in writing proposals, outlining timelines, resources, budgets, objectives and goals.
•Provide input through project implementation, statutory planning, and public consultation events.
•Lead design activities for overhead lines including PLS-CADD modelling, line routing, structural analysis and loading trees, design criteria, sag-tension calculations, and conductor/insulator selection.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a recognized electrical engineering institution (e.g. IET)
•Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (electrical or power engineering)
•Experience delivering projects for transmission system operators (e.g. National Grid, SSE, SPT) in line with operator standards
•Project experience in overhead line engineering up to 400kV
•Proven client relationship management and business development skills
