Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Continuous Monitoring engineering function that measures control effectiveness across cloud, identity, SaaS, and enterprise systems.
  • •Own the strategy and roadmap for continuous monitoring (control state collection, posture assessment, tooling integration, and remediation tracking).
  • •Grow and develop the team, hire security software engineers, set engineering quality standards, and provide targeted feedback for career development.
  • •Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monitoring output, including control coverage metrics, false positive rates, and audit-reliable evidence.
  • •Partner across GRC, Security, IT, Legal, and Engineering to define metrics/reporting boundaries, unblock cross-team initiatives, and present findings to senior leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 182,900 - 314,250 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior management experience leading engineering or security engineering teams.
  • •Typically 12+ years of experience, or an advanced degree plus 8 years, preferably in security engineering, security posture monitoring, or compliance automation.
  • •Sufficient technical depth to review Python automation and assess whether monitoring approaches hold up in production.
  • •Solid understanding of security controls and where they fail (identity and access, configuration management, logging coverage, vulnerability management, data protection).
  • •Cloud security knowledge across at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IAM, audit logging, CSPM concepts, and cloud-native security services.
