Key Responsibilities

  • •Induct bags onto the Baggage System via the in-feeds in a methodical and procedural manner.
  • •Attend to jams immediately and ensure the system is not damaged after removing items that caused the jam.
  • •Monitor and clear any blockages that prevent the flow of baggage.
  • •Hand scan every bag and fallback to keyboard mode if bags are not scanning, then follow up with the Control Room.
  • •Physical baggage handling in the event of system failures.
