Key Responsibilities

  • •Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
  • •Recommend solutions with an in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services; proactively reach out using approved marketing tools to set periodic review appointments.
  • •Cross-sell to the existing customer base and conduct outside sales activities, including presentations and community financial literacy events.
  • •Establish relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and refer customers for timely, holistic financial solutions.
  • •Process teller transactions, participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, maintain confidentiality, and follow policies to mitigate fraud and manage risk.

Key Requirements

  • •College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
  • •Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
  • •Understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
  • •Ability to professionally represent the bank with appearance and verbal/written communication.
  • •Demonstrated working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to use good judgment in decisions; S.A.F.E. Act registration at employment via NMLS.
