Key Responsibilities

  • •Shoot, write, and edit newsworthy events including breaking/spot news, general news, and feature stories.
  • •Collaborate with line producers, reporters, and anchors to gather elements and assist in producing news stories and interview segments.
  • •Collaborate with the assignment desk, producers, and reporters to research news segments and place content on the appropriate platform.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution and able to document degree progress.
  • •Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
  • •Must be bilingual in Spanish (written and verbal).
  • •Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
  • •Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX, with flexibility for off-site locations and field assignments as needed.
