Develop and enhance Linux-based embedded software for managing electrical power devices, including building a web service to remotely access and control devices via a browser. Own software quality and delivery timelines within Agile sprints, perform backend and UI development, and deploy applications on Linux. Implement and maintain security measures (firewalls, encryption, authentication/authorization) and ensure robust version control and ticketing workflows using GitLab and Redmine.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop new projects and features to improve and maintain software applications on Linux platforms.
•Build backend services and user interfaces, including a web service for remote access and control of electrical devices via a browser.
•Deploy and support applications on Linux, including implementation and maintenance of security measures (firewalls, encryption, authentication, authorization).
•Collaborate using Agile/Sprint Planning, and participate in Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives as needed.
•Manage code quality and delivery by following QoS processes, reviewing/approving GitLab merges, and tracking tickets in Redmine; mentor less experienced team members.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as an embedded software developer.
•Solid knowledge modifying the Linux kernel and working on Linux platforms.
•Solid knowledge in Python, plus ability to work with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
•Knowledge of C and experience with Flask and/or Vue.js are desirable.
•Knowledge of security and networking concepts (e.g., TCP, Modbus, DNS, SSL/TLS, LDAP, RBAC) and experience with Docker deployments are desirable.
