Job Summary

Own end-to-end strategic initiatives across Glovo Kazakhstan’s Operations team, driving Logistics as a Service (LaaS) growth and transforming the 3PL ecosystem. You’ll lead partner operations excellence by improving partner-level performance metrics (e.g., preparation time and courier waiting time), operate with high autonomy through operational crises, and manage commercial/operational negotiations to deliver cost savings and improve P&L.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive end-to-end strategic ownership of the Logistics as a Service (LaaS) vertical, scaling operations with major partners in Kazakhstan.
•Strategically lead and manage 3PL partners, shifting them toward proactive, high-performing fleet management for courier acquisition, retention, and compliance.
•Improve partner operations excellence by optimizing partner-level performance bottlenecks such as preparation time and avoidable waiting time (aWT) of couriers.
•Operate with high autonomy: identify process issues, establish operational protocols, and execute rapid mitigations during high saturation or seasonal crises.
•Own commercial and operational negotiations with major accounts, distributors, and external providers to secure cost savings and improve bottom-line P&L.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar).
•2–4 years of project management experience in high-velocity operational environments such as foodtech, quick-commerce, retail logistics, or on-demand express delivery.
•Strong ability to handle external vendors, respond to structural pushbacks, and build long-term contractual frameworks.
•Data-driven mindset with analytical skills to make decisions using data and business judgment.
•Hands-on problem-solving mindset, owner mentality, and strong stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels.
