Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections with follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems including electrical, brakes, cooling, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines, transmissions, and related components.
•Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and confirm proper operation.
•Manage parts inventory/equipment on the company-issued service truck and complete periodic reconciliation.
•Document work findings, parts used, and repairs on Repair Orders (RO) using a company-issued iOS device and the proprietary TRAIT application, and complete required DOT paperwork.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or alternate combination such as 5 years of experience).
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools needed for the role.
•Must be able to successfully pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
•Must have a valid DOT medical card (or DOT physical if needed) and hold a valid Class C license plus a valid driver’s license with driver qualification file.
