Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight of EMEA VAT compliance for all legal entities, liaising with advisors as required.
  • •Deliver complex VAT advice to SSC teams and operating divisions, including legislative changes and impacts of business developments.
  • •Lead process and systems improvements/automation via special projects, including key process testing and implementation of new processes and systems.
  • •Oversee VAT due diligence and provide advice on acquisitions, divestments, business product changes, and other ad hoc projects.
  • •Manage, motivate, and develop the VAT team, including planning/prioritising work, risk review tracking, performance metrics, internal communications, and support for recruitment.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA) and/or an accounting qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA).
  • •Significant knowledge of VAT processes and best practice in tax, people, processes and technology.
  • •6 years relevant VAT experience.
  • •Significant knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and relevant sales order processing systems.
  • •Ability to lead, oversee, motivate, and manage people in a tax environment.
