Key Responsibilities

  • •Support accounting, compliance, tax, and audit requirements for UPL and contingent compensation entities, working with the Accounting and Audit Director.
  • •Process payments and SAP journals, allocate cash receipts to productions, and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • •Calculate and post journals for management fees and accruals; produce quarterly management accounts and upload supporting documentation in Blackline.
  • •Create quarterly invoices and reconcile participations and residuals for UPL/UK accounts and VAT returns; prepare annual draft accounts for auditors.
  • •Complete FEU return forms and prepare individual and Group VAT returns; act as the point of contact for statutory audits and support audit requests, including ONS reporting and audit data preparation.

Key Requirements

  • •Accredited professional finance qualification (preferably ACA or ACCA or international equivalent) and 1–2 years PQE.
  • •Experience of an audit process from a top-tier accounting firm.
  • •Comfortable with financial systems; SAP experience beneficial.
  • •Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables under pressure.
  • •Demonstrated attention to detail with proven accuracy; TV/media industry experience preferable.
