Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess and diagnose the extent of client hearing loss using audiometric tests
  • •Document results of assessments and tests, and make referrals to medical practitioners
  • •Recommend solutions for hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions, and assistive listening devices
  • •Provide counselling, advice, and information to clients and families as part of treatment
  • •Support development and management of noise control and hearing conservation strategies
