Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement global HSE management systems and H&S controls within the BMS in line with regulatory requirements, international standards, and strategic needs.
  • •Set H&S policy, standards, procedures, processes, and systems to establish and maintain a safe workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • •Collaborate with senior regional leadership to integrate procedures and standards into regional operations and provide guidance and assurance on effective delivery of standards.
  • •Support sales and solutions by providing H&S controls for RFI/RFP, commercial contracts, and business development activities.
  • •Establish and continually improve a controls framework, mitigate global H&S risks, assess supply chains, and develop emergency response and recovery procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Certification from an Occupational Safety & Health accreditation body (e.g., NEBOSH, BCSP).
  • •Strong experience in a senior health and safety management position, preferably within construction, heavy industrial, infrastructure, refining, and/or manufacturing.
  • •Working knowledge of regional H&S operating standards and the ability to articulate and contribute to an H&S Management System.
  • •Demonstrated experience developing H&S procedures, processes, competence, and management system elements.
  • •Knowledge of RIDDOR and OSHA standards, plus designing and managing H&S management systems aligned to ISO 45001.
