Key Responsibilities

  • •Research, analyze, and document technical accounting issues and prepare calculations to support accounting conclusions and external audit reviews under US GAAP (including ASC 718, 350-40, 340, 805, 842, and 480).
  • •Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and lead implementation of significant changes.
  • •Coordinate complex transaction valuations by managing inputs and reviewing deliverables for 409A, intangible asset, and equity award valuations with external valuation specialists.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting Operations, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, etc.) to ensure technical guidance is operationalized.
  • •Help design and implement SOX-compliant accounting processes and internal controls; partner with external auditors/consultants and provide training/mentorship on technical accounting topics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a required CPA license.
  • •7+ years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate accounting in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.
  • •Demonstrated technical accounting expertise, including drafting memos on complex, non-routine transactions.
  • •Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX).
  • •Experience supporting increasing external reporting, audit, or regulatory complexity and familiarity with ERP/financial reporting tools (Netsuite and Workiva preferred).
