Job Summary

Perform diagnostic repair and preventive maintenance in a high-production mechanic shop, supporting mechanics with troubleshooting and hands-on service across vehicle systems. Work on A/C & heater, brakes, electrical charging, cooling, starting/cranking, lighting, driveline, fuel, tires and wheels, while road testing and recording vehicle information per department processes. Provide courteous service to internal and external customers and maintain a safe, organized shop environment while practicing teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform assigned diagnostic repair and maintenance on customer vehicles in a high-production mechanic shop.
•Troubleshoot and repair A/C & heater, brakes, clutch, cooling, starting/cranking, lighting and electrical accessories.
•Inspect and service electrical charging systems, batteries, alternators, belts, and related components.
•Perform preventive maintenance including lube techniques, fault code identification, tire inspections, and under-vehicle checks.
•Road test vehicles as needed, track and record vehicle information, and assist with general shop duties while providing courteous service.
