Job Summary

Enhance flight efficiency, operational safety, and global network growth by developing and maintaining navigation solutions across destinations. Conduct fuel and payload analyses, publish safety-critical navigation information for crews, and assess airports and alternate aerodromes for suitability. Maintain aeronautical charting requirements and develop Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) procedures, while collaborating with flight operations, finance, network planning, and safety teams to validate procedures and support fuel budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct fuel and payload analyses to identify operational savings and deliver fuel-saving initiatives.
•Analyze, develop, and publish safety-critical navigation information for flight crews, including terrain and obstacle avoidance procedures.
•Perform technical assessments of airports, destinations, and alternate aerodromes to determine operational suitability and compliance.
•Maintain aeronautical charting requirements across the network and develop/validate Performance-Based Navigation (PBN) procedures and specialized routing solutions.
•Participate in simulator validation sessions and provide fuel valuation/forecasting assessments to support fuel budgeting and planning.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS), Air Traffic Management (ATM), and international aviation regulatory frameworks.
•In-depth knowledge of ICAO Annexes and supporting manuals, IATA standards, and regulatory requirements from authorities such as EASA/JAA and FAA.
•Sound knowledge of global airspace structures, air route systems, airport design criteria, and aircraft navigation capabilities.
•Minimum 4 years of experience in a navigation, flight operations engineering, flight dispatch, or related aviation environment.
•Ability to analyze complex operational data and deliver safety-focused navigation solutions.
