Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening/scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical reviews of specialist chapters.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with rigorous quality management procedures.
  • •Manage resources and budgets for EIA-related work (with support as applicable) across project life stages from strategy through construction and operation/maintenance.
  • •Collaborate with integrated design teams to identify environmental constraints, develop impact avoidance and mitigation solutions, and identify benefits opportunities.
  • •Maintain client relationships and internal supply teams, and promote AECOM environmental services by identifying and leading business development and proposal development opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrate interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA, environmental assessment methods, planning legislation, and consenting/licensing regimes, with experience in DCO and/or TWAO as a bonus.
  • •Experience delivering consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confident stakeholder engagement with excellent verbal, report-writing, and technical review skills.
  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably a Master’s) and appropriate professional membership; Chartered Environmentalist status and interest in mentoring/line management are advantageous.
