Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing process and equipment issues and perform maintenance and repairs as directed.
  • •Identify and implement system improvements to achieve throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
  • •Solve production, equipment, and process problems and respond to process control alarms to return processes to control.
  • •Set up and maintain gauges, transition new equipment and processes through start-up/qualification/implementation, and execute planned process experiments.
  • •Provide training to production associates and develop/update internal documentation and drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.

Salary: USD 18.89 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required (or an Associates degree in a technical discipline).
  • •Must meet one of the following: 2+ years machine/mechanic experience, 1 year First Solar technical experience, or 6 months First Solar Associate EMT experience with EMT proficiency rating of 5+.
  • •Verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Verifiable hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • •Safety mindset and ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment and process issues on the manufacturing line.
