Job Summary

Lead, coach, and grow engineering teams in a hands-on technical leadership role. Partner with Product Managers to define what to build and how to build it, drive solution design and implementation, and ensure scalable, resilient, maintainable systems. Own team execution by planning, removing blockers, orchestrating dependencies, managing technical debt and toil, and continuously evolving Prolific engineering practices across cross-team initiatives.

•Nurture engineers’ growth through hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
•Create a healthy, predictable delivery pace by planning, removing blockers, and orchestrating dependencies with clear communication.
•Collaborate with Product Managers to define what to build and how to build it.
•Drive technical solution design and implementation, manage technical debt/toil, and support existing systems.

Key Requirements

•Experience in engineering management or equivalent coaching, mentoring and leadership as an individual contributor.
•Proven track record building products and leading complex initiatives, including designing systems.
•Exceptional problem-solving with deep understanding of software engineering.
•Clear and structured communication, able to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders across disciplines.
•5+ years of professional software development experience building highly available, transactional, distributed cloud applications with strong web frontend expertise.
