Job Summary

Supervise and direct daily mechanical installation activities at the project site, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, piping, and related work are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and schedules. Lead and allocate tasks to mechanical technicians and laborers, monitor manpower and progress, coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes, and report daily progress, materials, and issues to the Mechanical Site Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical installation activities on site, including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, piping, and associated equipment works.
•Allocate tasks and manage mechanical technicians, skilled workers, and laborers to ensure productivity and efficient execution.
•Execute works according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and instructions from the Mechanical Site Engineer.
•Monitor manpower utilization and ensure work progresses according to the approved schedule, inspecting installations for quality compliance.
•Coordinate with other site disciplines and foremen, report daily progress and site issues, and support inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning activities.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Mechanical Diploma from a recognized Technical/Industrial Institute or equivalent qualification.
•6+ years of experience in mechanical site execution, including HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, MEP, or related construction fields.
•Experience supervising site mechanical teams within construction projects is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation practices, including ability to interpret mechanical and shop drawings.
•Knowledge of relevant safety standards and site HSE procedures, with good communication and problem-solving skills.
