Job Summary

Defend Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) products by leading the security response lifecycle for externally reported vulnerabilities. Triage, investigate, and communicate high-profile issues, reproduce reported defects, assess lateral impact, and develop proof of concepts. Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the security response process from triage to remediation and communication of high-profile externally reported vulnerabilities.
•Assess threats and analyze externally reported vulnerabilities to support mitigations, virtual patches, workarounds, and fix recommendations.
•Reproduce vulnerabilities, evaluate lateral impact, and create proof of concepts.
•Use Claude Code and develop AI agentic workflows and multi-step agents for autonomous static analysis, dynamic scanning, and patch generation.
•Work with security defect discovery and OSS vulnerability platforms (e.g., Blackduck, Burp, Nessus, Coverity, vulnhub, GHSA, openwall) and author vSRC communications (security advisories, blogs, knowledge base articles).

Key Requirements

•Oversee security response activities from triage through remediation and communication for high-profile externally reported vulnerabilities.
•Reproduce externally reported vulnerabilities, assess for lateral impact, and develop proof of concepts.
•Use Claude Code (or similar AI agentic coding tools) and design AI agentic workflows for triage and assessment.
•Build multi-step reasoning AI agents for static analysis, dynamic scanning, and automated patch generation.
•Be proficient in Python and at least one of C/C++ or Java, with a Computer Science (or related) degree plus 8+ years experience (or a related Master’s plus 6+ years).
