Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain all mill machinery, including pumps, conveyors, compressors, mechanical systems, rollers & chains, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • •Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance by inspecting equipment for irregularities and malfunctions.
  • •Troubleshoot mechanical issues, improve equipment reliability, and implement safe, reliable fixes to maximize production uptime.
  • •Identify and request relevant parts to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • •Assist in creating and maintaining a safe work environment while collaborating with maintenance, operations, production staff, and supervisors.

Key Requirements

  • •Superior troubleshooting skills.
  • •Experience working in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment (lumber manufacturing process knowledge is an asset).
  • •Basic electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery components.
  • •Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on heavy manufacturing machinery.
