Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze, develop, implement, test, and document hardware baseline changes for training support devices and instructional systems.
  • •Install, configure, and maintain training equipment, including site preparation, and provide ongoing diagnostics and support for training devices and systems.
  • •Develop test strategies and hardware technical specifications, vendor work scopes, technical manuals, and drawings for hardware modifications.
  • •Perform stress and performance testing on hardware such as circuit boards, processors, structures, and wiring, and provide technical assistance during test preparation.
  • •Draft or change hardware drawings using AutoCAD and complete administrative tasks such as physical inventory and license compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and 5+ years of experience in an appropriate engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, controls, computer, engineering science, civil, or aerospace).
  • •Experience with aviation or aviation-related simulation systems hardware design/modification (highly desired).
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.
  • •Ability to create and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
  • •Must be able to deliver oral presentations, work independently with minimal supervision, and work overtime/any shift as required.
