Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from field site work, surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utilities, maps, and geotechnical data for project development and design.
  • •Perform civil/site design and analysis including grading, drainage, and site layout.
  • •Design stormwater systems and develop drainage reports, SWPPPs, hydrologic analyses, open channel/bridge hydraulics calculations, cost estimates, and specifications.
  • •Create technical deliverables including tables, charts, accurate reports, sketches, calculations, and illustrations for interpretation and presentation.
  • •Maintain quality control standards and support scoping of small- to medium-sized projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (or closely related); master’s preferred.
  • •5–7+ years of post-education engineering experience with prior civil design experience.
  • •Professional Licensure (PE).
  • •Knowledge of civil engineering principles, permitting/project-related issues, and design/build processes.
  • •Experience designing stormwater infrastructure (planning, design, construction management) and coordinating with agency regulators.
