Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, diesel systems, transmissions, and related truck equipment.
•Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using test instruments; road-test to confirm proper operation.
•Identify problems, assess information, and evaluate solutions; manage parts inventory and driver-/RO documentation.
•Communicate with management and customers, and maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.

Travel: Extensive travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 32.07 - 48.13 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of related experience (or 5 years in related field)
•Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties
•Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months
•DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and ability to pass a DOT physical
•Valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old, with interstate driving eligibility
