Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Australia-specific government affairs and public policy strategies aligned with global priorities.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and influence legislative and regulatory developments across relevant ministries, agencies, and local governments.
  • •Build and maintain trusted relationships with key Australian government departments, regulators, ministers’ offices, parliamentarians, and public-sector stakeholders.
  • •Support public-sector market access by aligning policy advocacy with public procurement priorities and frameworks, partnering with sales, legal, and compliance to ensure compliant engagement.
  • •Provide executive advisory by translating complex policy and procurement developments into actionable business impact assessments and managing related risk and positioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or graduate degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • •10–12+ years’ experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, public-sector procurement, or related fields.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in Australia’s political, regulatory, and public procurement systems.
  • •Track record of senior-level engagement with government officials and public-sector stakeholders in Australia.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
