Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, pay out, and process cash and negotiable items including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Set up, close, and balance the teller station, and record sales of monetary instruments.
  • •Promote and cross-sell bank products and services while meeting service quality standards.
  • •Follow limits and adhere to bank policies and procedures for customer-account protection and bank safety and soundness.
  • •Assist with balancing vault/ATM/night drop/Coin Machine as assigned and support scanning documents and proof work; lift coin bags up to 50 lbs.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED with emphasis on office skills, shop skills, or others, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customers in person-to-person and small group situations.
  • •Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers; ability to perform these skills using money and other measurement.
  • •Ability to use common sense to carry out simple multi-step instructions and handle standardized situations with limited variables.
  • •High school diploma or GED and ability to maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude and appearance.
