Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement self-service infrastructure on AWS using reusable code and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
  • •Own the systems in production, including reliability, security, capacity, cost, upgrades, incident response, and recovery.
  • •Create SLOs, actionable alerts, dashboards, runbooks, and tested recovery paths for critical services.
  • •Automate recurring operational work by eliminating failure-prone manual steps.
  • •Set technical direction for ambiguous infrastructure work and lead through incidents to improve systems after service restoration.

Salary: USD 307,000 - 352,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of infrastructure, platform, or software engineering experience with Staff-level technical impact.
  • •Sustained ownership of a consequential production system, including incidents and unfamiliar failure modes.
  • •Strong coding skills in TypeScript, Python, Go, Ruby, or a similar language to build production software.
  • •Production experience with AWS plus infrastructure as code, containers, CI/CD, observability, and security boundaries.
  • •Generalist judgment with depth in at least one infrastructure domain and the ability to learn across adjacent domains.
