Job Summary

Own sourcing and supply strategies that keep Starlink production moving, partnering closely with engineering and manufacturing. You’ll manage purchase orders, demand and capacity signals, high-risk components, and supplier performance, while interpreting drawings and BOMs to build sourcing plans for mechanical custom and COTS hardware. Lead contract authoring with legal, drive negotiations to reduce cost and risk, and oversee outsource fabrication projects including vendor reviews.

•Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices related to assigned categories.
•Forecast demand and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material based on capacity.
•Track high-risk components and monitor ongoing supplier delivery performance.
•Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs to create sourcing strategies for mechanical custom and COTS hardware.
•Author and manage supplier contracts, drive negotiations, and oversee outsource fabrication projects including planning and vendor performance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, or supply chain management, or 9+ years engineering in lieu of a degree
•Experience placing purchase orders, managing supply signals, and resolving blocked invoices for assigned categories
•Experience forecasting demand, evaluating capacity, and tracking supplier delivery performance for high-risk components
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs and develop sourcing strategies for mechanical custom and COTS hardware
•Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed to meet deadlines
