Job Summary

Lead and optimise Gymshark’s customer and commerce technology portfolio, spanning ecommerce, retail POS, inventory, payments, martech, promotions/loyalty, and customer support systems. Own end-to-end platform management, incident escalation, change risk assessment, and reporting to drive measurable business value. Partner with CRM, loyalty, digital product, brand, and customer experience teams to configure and maximise system capabilities, while managing suppliers and a team of system administrators.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end management of Gymshark’s customer and commerce technology portfolio, ensuring platforms are stable, scalable, and deliver measurable business value.
•Lead system leadership activities including documentation, training, change management, incident management, and serving as an escalation point and Major Incident Manager when required.
•Assess change risks across the systems portfolio, understand business impact, and collaborate with the Change Advisory Board to maximise system availability.
•Partner with CRM, loyalty, digital product, brand, and customer experience teams to configure and utilise commerce and martech platforms effectively.
•Lead the management of payment methods and Shopify Apps across digital and retail channels, and oversee retail hardware strategy, store opening configuration, and lifecycle management.

Key Requirements

•People management and leadership experience, leading and developing technical team members.
•Demonstrable experience managing ecommerce platforms in a retail or DTC environment, with hands-on Shopify (Plus) knowledge (apps, themes, checkout configuration, and integrations).
•Proven martech experience owning platforms such as Braze and mParticle, enabling personalisation, campaign automation, or audience segmentation at scale.
•Demonstrable experience with promotions and loyalty technology (e.g., Talon.One) and configuring/managing rules-based promotion engines.
•Knowledge of ITIL standards and experience managing and improving third-party business systems and supplier relationships.
