Job Summary

Maintain and operate site services that support production and comply with regulatory standards. Perform scheduled maintenance with accurate records, ensure water treatment and industrial systems (air compressors, refrigeration, pumping, heating, and ventilation) run correctly, and respond to equipment breakdowns. Own health and safety practices, manage contractor safety and maintenance contracts, maintain housekeeping, and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials within the site services team.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain all site services to support production demands and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed with accurate records.
•Ensure water treatment equipment operates correctly and that air compressors, refrigeration, compressed air dryers, pumping, and heating systems meet required standards.
•Maintain health and safety, including records and testing for lifting equipment, sprinkler systems, fire alarms, compressed air regulations, and local exhaust ventilation systems.
•Ensure the safety and practices of contractors on site and confirm maintenance contracts are correctly fulfilled.
•Respond to breakdowns, maintain housekeeping in plant rooms and controlled areas, and ensure correct disposal of hazardous materials.

Key Requirements

•Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) with strong understanding of a second discipline to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
•Desirable knowledge of reciprocating and screw air compressors, and of pump sets and industrial water systems.
•Desirable experience working closely with contractors and maintaining maintenance contracts.
•Desirable forklift truck license, with the ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
