Job Summary

Support CTDOT’s Walk Bridge Replacement Program as part of the program management team, providing day-to-day coordination, technical support, and documentation. Assist with monthly and quarterly program reporting, meeting agendas and minutes, and issue tracking. Help with construction-phase change management and cost support (DICOs and potential changes), coordinate design-construction interface items, and partner with project controls on schedule, cost, and risk reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly program reports on construction progress, issues, risks, and schedule activities.
•Prepare and support technical memoranda, briefing materials, presentations, and meeting agendas/minutes.
•Track action items and follow-ups to support issue resolution and maintain relevant logs and tracking tools.
•Support construction-phase change management and cost estimates tied to Design Issue Change Orders (DICOs) and potential changes.
•Coordinate construction and design-construction interface efforts and help maintain schedule, risk, and controls reporting inputs with project controls staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
•Minimum 3-5 years of post-education experience supporting construction, design, or program management activities.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to prepare clear written documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and summary materials.
