Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Rental Service customers in a commercial market. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, starting up, and commissioning of HVAC systems in the field or depot. Coordinate with team leaders and customers by reviewing building layouts and requirements, using blueprints and engineering specs, and applying safety standards. Communicate inspection and service findings to customers and project managers.

•Perform end-to-end testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
•Provide direct customer service by diagnosing, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment at customer locations or the Rental Services depot.
•Coordinate installation and repair requirements by examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
•Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
•Maintain safety and accountability by enforcing safety standards and recording use, wear, and asset conditions, including occasional overtime and overnight stays.
