Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) deliverables for transportation projects, including cross sections and typical cross sections.
  • •Create MOT traffic control plans, profiles, temporary signing, and pavement markings.
  • •Develop detour routes and other MOT items as part of design packages for highway improvement projects.
  • •Support alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, across multiple experience levels.
  • •Collaborate with the project team to deliver MOT designs using tools such as Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads.

Key Requirements

  • •For MOT CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •For Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •For Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •For Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Experience with MOT design packages for highway improvement projects, including traffic control plans and detour route development.
