Key Responsibilities

  • •Pick up, deliver, inspect, and sanitize eggs to ensure quality and fitness for incubation, including storing eggs under controlled conditions.
  • •Operate egg sanitation and tray washer equipment, grade eggs by shell color/quality/texture, pack eggs, and dispose of substandard eggs.
  • •Load and deliver PS/SS eggs to specified areas and assist with loading for off-site hatchery transport.
  • •Monitor hatchery environment hourly for proper temperature and humidity and report issues as needed.
  • •Maintain a sanitary environment by disinfecting crates, fumigating specified areas, cleaning egg rooms and vehicles, and removing waste at end of shift.
