Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide first-line onsite technical support and field engineering service to clients, restoring service through effective incident resolution.
  • •Ensure client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational, and that solution software is installed and configured per client requirements.
  • •Proactively identify, log, and investigate incidents/problems; diagnose root causes using knowledge articles.
  • •Respond to and diagnose alerts; escalate to L2 Field Engineer when unable to resolve within the stipulated time, and to 3rd-party vendors if necessary.
  • •Maintain incident updates with progress/resolution details using required platforms and follow handover procedures for shift changes to ensure continuity.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
  • •Associate-level networking certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCNA, JNCIA, ACMA).
  • •Entry-level experience with networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, and core/access layers.
  • •Entry-level experience in technical support for clients (including remote support) and incident diagnosis/troubleshooting.
  • •Experience in relevant networking technologies used for service delivery and support.
