•Prepare cost estimates for HVAC Controls projects, including materials, subcontractors, purchased equipment, labor, and other construction-related activities.
•Develop detailed scopes based on design-build scope or plans and specifications for competitive bidding.
•Create detailed cost estimates (system sketches, scope definition, exceptions/exclusions, preliminary proposal, vendor/subcontractor quotes, and points list).

Key Requirements

•Associates or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with 3–5 years’ estimating/engineering/construction management experience, or 5–7 years in controls field experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Proven experience with Building Automation, HVAC Controls, and HVAC Systems.
•Working knowledge of construction disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), plus strong financial and business acumen and a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget.
•Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines in a high-paced environment with attention to detail.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit-and-run, suspension, or reckless/careless driving).
