Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and train hourly employees, providing direction and administering corrective and disciplinary actions consistently.
  • •Provide and enforce safety training and comply with SOPs, FSMA, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • •Schedule feed mill activities and production to meet mill requirements, including proper sequence, clean-out procedures, and inventory/products ordering.
  • •Oversee and manage inventories and complete daily feed mill checklist activities.
  • •Manage daily reporting and review production reports (tank chart, production record, inventory, batching summaries).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 2 years’ progressive feed manufacturing experience.
  • •Associate’s Degree in Poultry, Animal or Feed Science, Biology or related field (preferred).
  • •1+ year related supervisor experience within a similar environment (preferred).
  • •Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, track mobiles and/or drive forklift; practical computer skills with MS Office.
