Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and document project-related construction activities for conformance to project plans.
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze field data from physical sites, surveys, structural plans, blueprints, schematics, and sampling for inspection activities.
  • •Perform basic inspections of existing/proposed site conditions and construction materials using survey instruments, metering devices, and test equipment.
  • •Generate complete, accurate, and concise documentation of inspection findings using electronic systems and reports (including photos and diagrams).
  • •Provide routine technical assistance, attend pre-construction meetings, and assist with verifying load calculations, change orders, and contractor payments due.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Minimum 7+ years of relevant post-education experience in the discipline with prior construction inspection experience.
  • •Experience inspecting concrete, structural steel, masonry, fireproofing, reinforcing steel, and soils.
  • •ICC licenses in concrete, structural steel welding, masonry, fireproofing, and soils preferred.
  • •Valid state driver’s license; able to read plans/specs and lift up to 50 lbs.
