Key Responsibilities

  • •Travel to a facility or site location within 60 miles from residency to observe student performance
  • •Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with the cooperating health care organization and preceptors
  • •Maintain effective communication with students, cooperating preceptors/mentors, Office of Field Experience (OFE), and GCU Course Faculty
  • •Provide records and evaluations for the CONHCP student using external software (Typhon) and supply results to Course Faculty
  • •Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation and uphold the university's mission and Doctrinal statements
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •MSN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP)
  • •Minimum of two years professional experience in an ACNP or AGACNP role
  • •Active, current, and unencumbered ACNP/AGACNP state license
  • •Active, current, unencumbered, and multi-state (compact) RN license
  • •National board certification – ACNP/AGACNP specific
